For the exhibition in the Glass Museum Nový Bor, the works were essentially monochromatic. The limitation of the color scale can very well illustrate the “colorfulness” of various structures and decors. The simple clean shapes contrast with the rich decor on the surface or the elaborate structure inside the material. An authentic shelf from the artist’s gallery in Chlístov is also incorporated into the installation. It brings us closer to the real environment where these special and unique things are created and also evokes the environment of the Viennese art workshops of the Wiener Werkstätte from the first three decades of the 20th century, to which Zdeněk Lhotský pays tribute in this part of his work.

In the reconstructed building of the former textile factory in Poříčí in Železný Brod, an exhibition of works by Zdeněk Lhotský and his friends – artists who realized their works in cooperation with his studio in Pelechov – is presented. All exhibitors are united by cast glass technology. The installation of glass together with the industrial interior of the former factory space creates an extraordinary exhibition unit.
